Dehli Bombed!

I am really depressed, not only because of all the dead people but because I know that our 'Gandhi-luvin'/veggie eating govt of India is going to do 'jack' against the 'real' perpetrators and masterminds behind this. Already there is talk that Indo-pak relations are not going to affected. I mean to hell with this indo-pak peace BS, Gee...I can think of a thousand other epithets to say at that.

Unless you go at the root of the 'terrorism creating' machine, it will continue to strike back again and again.

I don't expect much from the thoroughly brainwashed Indian masses but people who know better and hold power, it is upto them to do something and if they don't do anything and still sing songs of peace and amity and target a few small fries in India then that would be really a big time letdown.

Something will have to be done. To do nothing and to sit and wring our collective hands will show a weakness of such a tremendous nature that it will foster an atmosphere where the jihadis think they can strike at will. It seems incredible that a few thousand terrorists, backed by a failed state can hold a nation to ransom in this way.

Remember that these animals under stand only strength. Make them understand the punishment and pain they will suffer for every bomb attack, every threat they make. They understand only consequences. Not reason

Delhi blasts: 22 detained, Al Qaeda hand suspected

Sunday, 30 October , 2005, 10:48

New Delhi: At least 22 people have been detained in connection with the serial blasts in Delhi as police launched a massive hunt to nab the culprits.

Police raided scores of places across the capital, including Paharganj, Chandni Chowk, Zakir Nagar, Okhla, Lajpat Nagar and Nizamuddin throughout the night, police sources said on Sunday.

At least 22 people were picked up for questioning by the joint teams of Intelligence Bureau and police, the sources said. Investigators said that the bomb blasts could have been carried out by Pakistan based Lashker-e-Taiba in league with Al Qaeda.

Al Qaeda's hand is suspected considering the way the bombs were constituted was different from that used by the outfits active in Jammu and Kashmir.

I just saw on TV about how a mother goes about searching for young daughter who had gone out with her friends to the market. She shows her daughter's pic to various people and after some asking around, someone informs her that they had seen her daughter being carried to a certain hospital.

When the mother visits that hospital, she is informed that her daughter is no more...

Where are the Mods? I would have thought that using profanity would earn someone a warning or at least a kurtas style 'under moderation'. This is a discussion forum and if K_Singh said something that people didn't agree with then by all means they should dispute this but some hotheads with a limited vocabulary can only use profanities to put forward their view. The funny thing is that sometimes the same people who like to refer to others as 'fanatics' are fanatics themselves. Reminds me of our old 'foot in mouth' sufferer Neo Singh.

Anyway everyone is entitled to their opinion and those who don't share your opinion may be wrong in your eyes but they don't deserve profanities being thrown in their direction.

As it is my view is it could be Kashmiri terrorists, Al Qaida and it may even have been the GOI or at least rogue elements of the Indian establishment who are fearful of the co-operation between Pakistan and India due to the earthquake. I said it could be so it also might not be. But mindful of how repressive and genocidal the GOI has been to Sikhs and other minorities, to think that it would lose a seconds sleep over and much less care about the lives of 60 odd innocent people is naive.

As for the credibility of the people investigating the bombing, isn't that the same Delhi Police that planted bombs on a UK Sikh five years ago and then had it's knuckes rapped by the judge when their version of events was found to be a fake?

So this is supposed to be the SikhSangat PC style ehh ??

But though we might have disagreements over the Govt's role or non-role, I can clearly recollect that the only time the Govt last moved from its backside was when there own house (parliament) was attacked. Suddenly they where all up on their hindlegs and shouting at the top of their voice about attacking pakistan.

If common people are attacked, and whenever they were attacked in the past....we have just heard some high sounding words such like..

We will not bow down to terrorism...

They can't break our spirit

etc etc..

Frankly I get the impression that the govt could care less if ordinary people were attacked and suffer casualties ..... ie unless proven otherwise

People have died and all some people want to do is make up bull$hit conspiracy theories.

I suppose the recent bombings in London were also done by the GOI and it was the GOI who started the Lozells riots not to mention the GOI involvement in the increase in oil prices across the world.

Good point. I suspect it was the same sort of people behind the 7/7 bombings in London.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
