Vaheuguru Ji Ka Khalsa

Vaheuguru Ji Ke Fateh

I wear my dastaar all the time, though sports, at home, just all day, I try to treat it was repect as my other kakkars. But the problem is I feel guilty taking it off at night, but its not comfortable sleeping with it on, are dumallas more comfortable while sleeping? Some have suggested me that I should just wear a patka, but then why dont we just wear a patka through the day, then other have said saroopa then y don we just wear that through the day. So can you please tell me how you taking care of your hair at night, or your identity?

No offence Singh but are we just running out of topics? We've been through the kachera topic, and now this. I'm assuming the idea for this topic came from that one. Just the karda and kanga topics remain now.

Some have suggested me that I should just wear a patka, but then why dont we just wear a patka through the day, then other have said saroopa then y don we just wear that through the day.

Why don't we wear our pajamas in the day? Why is the color of the sky blue?

Lets make the best use of these forums with legitimate and intellectual topics for a change.

So can you please tell me how you taking care of your hair at night, or your identity?

Kurdi wahlaya nay raat nu dekhan aohna? Relax, don't lose sleep over it.

you have every right to ask these questions over here. I think cantlogin is just making sure that we should think too much about these issues instead we should look inside of us and try to improve ourself at other fronts also.

Well I dont know if I m right or wrong but I feel more comfortable in patka. I wear patka at home but dastar if I go out.

Patka is extremely confortable while sleeping. Earlier I use to tie both...that is a home turban with patka underneath. That idea is also not bad. U can do that i think.

Forgive me for my mistakes.

Waheguru ji ka khalsa,

It is not acceptable to wear a Patka when sleeping. The Patka is a new invention. The Keski has been in vogue since the times of the Gurus.

If your Keski comes out in the night you needs to make it longer, you should tie it lower on your forehead. Two larrs is barely acceptable for a Keski. The more larrs the firmer it is. You could even tie two Keskis. Your Jurra should be quite firm. Your Keski does not even have to be tight to go to sleep but if it is tied correctly it will not come off.

It is not acceptable to sleep bareheaded. The Khalsa is Tyaar-Bar-Tyaar at all times.
