hey everybody jus as i was going to sleep yesterday i thought of something that really requires deep thought .. we as good sikhs want our main objective to be one with god.. such a high stage ..

ok fair enough the concept of death scares me but if we were good enough would we be with god .. ??

then again god is everywhere hena? so affectivly would we be everywhere?? my fellow sikhs enlighten me on what happens after death. and the question..

After death.. its pretty scary for us humans to even come close to comprehending. We travel a long path which can take anywhere up to 7 years just to get to dharam rajs court.. this whole time those on earth missing us are distracting us, our attachments are getting in the way.. on the other side jamdhoots are attacking us and sucking away our spiritual energy from our soul. Only the gurmukh has guru sahib by his side to protect him.

When we get to dharam raj he will then judge us and depending on our kamahee we will be sent to different places.. the true gurmukhs who visited sachkhand while alive will most likely automatically be there at their death and none of the rest matters as they spent their life in sachkhand already (jeevan mukht).

we as sikhs should not care or be scared of what happens to us. We should just worry about our bhagti.

Wherever Keertan, Naam or Bani is going on then there the Jamdoots NEVER go. And a gursikh is always reciting naam with every swaas, so the jamdoots never attack him/her, also Dharamraj does not give the gursikh punishment, so he is one with waheguru, his soul merges with wahegurus and so in reality we are waheguru in a way.....

think about it, or soul is not bad, our soul wants to go back to its source which is waheguru, but it is our man (mind) which leads us away from waheguru. Lets say our soul is a jewel, (the jewel is waheguru) but we cannot see the jewel because it is covered with dust (past bad karma) in order to see the jewel we must wipe away the dust, how do we do this?

We can ONLY achieve this with the kirpa of the Satguru who is Guru Granth Sahib Ji....we wipe away the dust with the cloth of naam, bani keertan!

rarely does a soul stay in sachkhand, cuz didn't baba atta say there are only 4 real sikhs, out of a possible 9 million. so how you are this life will utimately will determine where you end up in the next life.

I always thought it takes 1 solar year to get to dharam raja.. but again i can be wrong.. can you please provide sources of where it says it takes 7 yrs... i very much like to know and possible further research more on this matter..

from what i read in bhaisahib bhai rama singh jee's book, it takes 1 year to reach dharamraaj :T:

i am sorry, a gursikh (who has seen it) told me this. I beleive he was referring to manmukhs who dont understand where to go and get lost. For them it can take UP TO 7 years.
