All of science lovers,ask your mind a question.When there was nothing,no creation,no time,no air,no water,just Waheguru was there,was there any science?

God made this creation and put humans into different occupations and entanglements.

Science is just one of them.

I am myself currently doing a PHD(wow i am a wordly scholar d_oh.gif ) and doing a decent job of it.

But for me its nothing more than a way to earn money and also roam around the world seeing the beautiful creation of God.

If you see Waheguru in science, science is good.

If you forget waheguru while studying science, science is ego, depression, tension, conflicts, restless mind and lots of pain.

I think Truth was not born with the birth of Guru Nanak Dev ji in 15th century.. it was already there even before Guru Nanak took birth and it is still there while guru nanak dev ji is no more in body. Truth is "Jugo jug attal". May we all be available to this Truth.!!! Aameen !!!

waheguru ji kekhalsa, waheguru ji ke fateh

Pyare jio, for a detailed analysis of Science and Gurmat read the books of Subedar Dharam Singh Sujon from Leicester. They have also been serialised in many Uk punjabi papers.

They are excellent. They also make one realise how much of science we are unaware of, and how deep Gurmat philosophies are explained in scientific manner.

These books are available on stalls at AKJ UK rainsbhais and Sikh missionary society Southall.

waheguru ji kekhalsa, waheguru ji ke fateh

can i get the articls on the net???

I read one.. which talked about different wavelengths and frequencies of different worlds, (Sikhi calls its KHANDS while science calls them dimensions)

anyways, bak to this topic..

If you see Waheguru in science, science is good.

If you forget waheguru while studying science, science is ego, depression, tension, conflicts, restless mind and lots of pain.

Did you know that Gur Nanak described God as "Akal Poorakh" (Beyond Time and Space).

Sounds very scientific to me. :@

The human skull is made up of segments that are not fused together at birth so the head is slightly flexible. This is so the baby can fit through the birth canal. It takes a little while (I have no idea how long) for the segments of the skull to bond together and become solid. That is why you need to be extra careful with baby heads.

Now what does "dasam duar" mean? *blush*

Ishna.

gurbani .... it always tries to ask questions...obviously to present answers....

i still remember from our kinesiolgy class in high school......the soft spots/gaps around the cranial fissuers are called fontanelles, 2 of em....anterior and posterior...

anterior is the big one and has a diamond shape. located right at the top

Posterior is triangular and smaller

both of these close when the infant usually completes its first year in life

Guru Amar Das Ji Maharaj said himself in Anand Sahib...

vujaaeiaa vaajaa poun no dhuaarae purugutt keeeae dhusuvaa guputh rukhaaeiaa

He blew the breath of life into the musical instrument of the body, and revealed the nine doors; but He kept the Tenth Door hidden.

The nine doors refer to the nine opening in our body....ear mouth nose etc etc

hence the tenth opening is GUPT i.e. hidden per se.....and can obtained only through simran..repeditive 24 hr simran ...uthdiyan..behndeyan...saundayan..khavandayan...you get the idea and not to forget ONLY WITH GOD"S KIRPA...can we open our DASAM DOAR/DUAR

Mahapursh have their DASAM DOAR open...hence an open channel of communication is present between them and AKAL PURAKH (technically Akal Purakh resides here himself*). It is known that there are 3 rivers which provide the mind with a cleansing bath and when they flow to the brain ....actually i can go on and on but i would not be able to explain it as well as gurbani does....

here is a quote from Guru sahib ji .... pg 974

The energy channels of the Ida, Pingala and Shushmanaa:

These three dwell in one place.

This is the true place of confluence of the three sacred rivers:

This is where my mind takes its cleansing bath.

O Saints, the Immaculate Lord dwells there;

How rare are those who go to the Guru, and understand this.

The all-pervading immaculate Lord is there.

What is the insignia of the Divine Lord's dwelling?

The unstruck sound current of the Shabad vibrates there.

There is no moon or sun, no air or water there.

The Gurmukh becomes aware, and knows the Teachings.

Spiritual wisdom wells up, and evil-mindedness departs;

The nucleus of the mind sky is drenched with Ambrosial Nectar.

One who knows the secret of this device, meets the Supreme Divine Guru.

The Tenth Gate is the home of the inaccessible, infinite Supreme Lord.

Above the store is a niche, and within this niche is the commodity.

So gurbani as i said explains everything pray.gif ...all we have to do is look at the translation lol...... :TH:

BHULLAN BAKHSHO d_oh.gif

*i used himself for convenience sake.... but as we know Alak Purakh has no gender

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
