bhang is permited, but ya'll gta understand wat its used for

pelay nihanga snt smoke it, the drink is called shaheedi degh n is laced in cannabis.

the drink is used as a pain surpressent (i dno how 2 spel it, lol) and is taken is small doses, so therefore it dsnt intoxicate

yes there are a few nihanga that abuse it and therefore all the nihangs hav a bad name becuz of a few.

ppl then say wel bhang is mentioned in gurbaani stating that its forbidden.

however, many western medicines hav alchohol in it, r u gan stop takin them? ur not takin the medicine to get drunk n intoxicated r u? its the same fing wid bhang

It is true that smoking Cannabis rather than consuming it in a drink has a more potent effect on the body. However, this does not mean it is any more acceptable to consume it as a drink. There is "Degh" made whereby so much Cannabis has been added the "Degh" is literally green. This "Degh" will most definately have a massive effect on the body.

Those people who say that there is a strict limit on how much Bhang is added to "Degh" most likely are not familiar with the type of "Degh" that is made in India.

If Gurbani has banned the consumption of something then it is banned. My Benti is for those who are not accustomed to what the realities are of about Bhang and other types of drugs and their usage is in India, they refrain from commenting on what their peers, books or websites have told them.

Furthermore it is incorrect that only Cannabis which has been heated is intoxicating. Many people from different cultures consume raw leaves and buds from Cannabis plants for intoxicating effects. Cannabanoids are present in the leaf when raw; although heating does make the drug more potent.

hanji paji totally understand it was used for medicine back in the days of battle but whats the point of it now? I dont think there is any point at all and ofcourse people abuse it dut nowadays medicine is medicine we got better technology and minds to make better medicine nowdays but why still have shaheedi dheg whether u abuse it or not it still gets you high and whats the point of taking it nowadays sitting on your sofa. also an argument is that having dheg helps you meditate cuz it gets you buzzin and you get relaxed BUT thats why guru ji tells us to do yoga that relaxes you out so we dnt need dheg all these thing are for personal pleasure.
