Guru Nanak Dev Ji's own father, or his sons did not believe and see WHAT he TRULY was. the people most closely related to him...dismissed his supreme being as mere waste of time...pakhand!

people are fast to point the finger at one, and laugh when they dont agree or see the truth...or maybe they jus dont want to see it.

Guru Nanak Dev Ji (and many other Guru's ... inc Guru Arjun, Guru Amar Das) faced opposition from members of there own family... that did not deter them...hence grew the Sikh faith.

It's a pattern that has always emerged within the spiritual world (Jesus, Mohammad, Sikh Gurus...were all mocked and abused in their time)...look at the following of them now...why do we follow them now, when they were mocked by our ancestors!???

Man always thinks he knows better than God...yet we are the fools.

You compare these Kanjar to be 'Gurus' how dare you!

What power do these people possess that would lead us to believe that they are 'Gurus' none i tell you, none!

And you certainly can't be a Kaur if you believe in these imposters!!

ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਨਾ ਆਵੈ ਨ ਜਾਇ ॥

My True Guru, forever and ever, does not come and go. (SGGSJ, Ang 759)

Then how can a human guru liberate others when he himself is in the cycle of death and birth? His physical body which he claims as the guru is perishable. After one human dies the followers start following another person as the "true" guru. This cycle goes on.

Yeah we are fools no doubt but did any of the above mentioned have any ulterior motives?

Are you likening leaders of cults nowadays to the above, if I decide to wear a white chola and dastaar tomorrow and buy a real nice kursi and tell everyone that they will all die unless they follow me. Make sexual advances toward my female followers and make derogatory remarks against the tenets of other faiths. Will any criticism thrown against me be totally uncalled for??

Truthful living plays a huge part, i.e. practice what you preach...

No one can be on the same level as the Guru because the Guru (Guru Granth Sahib) has the power to grant mukhti, which no prophet, diette, baba, 'sant', maharaz can do and that is also in Gurbani. Any other bliss is temporary and passes with time, but the true maha anand (bliss) and contentment can only be obtained from the Guru Granth Sahib.

Furthermore, unfortunately people nowaday are led totally astray by people who claim that they are the messiah, 'sant', ambassador of aliens etc...

This is the case increasingly in punjab, people without knowledge on the basic knowledge of Sikhi blindly follow others who claim they are special in some way

and are in turn exploited, sometimes without knowing it.

As for criticism toward cult leaders today. If a few people are making it then it can be easily dismissed, but if a thousand people from all walks of life and with absolutely no connection with each other are making the same claims then the actions of that cult leader are totally questionable.

guru's dont need to prove their powers to anyone. kirpa in itself is evident when u have a belief. u people jus dont want to understand so therefore u wont. no point conversing with u.

And you certainly can't be a Kaur if you believe in these imposters!!

...who says darshan das as gone??? body is the temple...soul is the key ... which is not perishable....there is no death...there is no 'death' birth cycle like ur are claiming/assuming

for once you've made a comment worth responding too...

"umm how can a human body help u meet god anyway? Only guru shabad can...its quite simple if u apply logic to it"

A guru in a human form is ur link with God...thru Naam Shabd. where do u get this naam shabd??? thru a GURU only. this highlighted thru out the Gurbani.

...simple logic.

simple logic: "A guru in a human form is ur link with God...thru Naam Shabd. where do u get this naam shabd??? thru a GURU only. this highlighted thru out the Gurbani."

So Guru Granth Sahib Ji isNot our Guru?? If you beleive Guru Granth Sahib Ji is Guru Ji (SABH SIKHAN KOH HUKAM HAI GUUR MAHIYO GRANTH) Then Guru Ji has given us that naam

We got our naam... GURMANTAR: WAHEGURU

Now we've got naam.. so why waste time finding the naam u alredy got... another example of simple logic

Ooooh By the way, In Sidh Gost, When Guru Nanak Dev Ji was asked: Who is your guru? Guru ji Said: SHABAD GURU. Its written in black and white.. just read it. 2nd example of simple logic: Read and Understand

So whats the fuss about..? wacko.gif

Any person with knowledge of the SGGS can guide you. There is no need for a 3rd party (or a human 'Guru' as you seem to think this is the only way!).

Through the SHABAD you can connect with Waheguru! These imposters teach you that only through a 'human guru' can you achieve mukti, this so they can have a large following and the donations keep rolling in! I should know!

Please wake up and submit to Gurmat! pray.gif

Anyone who claims to be a Guru is destined for the couldron of hell. So that's where he'll be found!

Why is it that the women always fall for these pakandi!!!!

Comes as no surprise to why it was a woman who gave into the serpent in the Garden of Eden!

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
