I just came across a comment not long ago that it's wrong to mix bhangra-type/hip hop-influenced/rap type music with the message of the past shaheedi albums.. and that some people just listen to it for the beat!

What do you guys think? So far, I think it's a good way to get a younger audience's attention IF they understand the meaning of it after hearing it too!

I was just listening to the earlier albums you see, and most of the songs sounded like instrumentals off rap tunes :wub: Quite disappointed! (Although they do seem to have improved over the years too)
