Your wording is confusing.

Do you mean you can enforce it ONLY if you are practising Sikhi?

Or do you actually mean, "You can ONLY enforce it if you are practising Sikhi" as in, it's like our duty, there's nothing else we can or should do?

You can only bring up your children as Sikhs if the parents are practising. otherwise it's hypocritical!

I've seen men with dastaar and long beard and the woman with a bob cut with fancy curls, dolled up to the nines!!

Explain that to your child who's been told to not cut his hair!!

Hmmm I just realized that the both kind of mean the same thing if you look at it. If you practice Sikhi, you should bring up your children as Sikhs, and you should only bring them up as Sikhs if you practice Sikhi, which is already in the given. Make any sense? lol, w/e, I agree.
