>We are excited to announce our first Sikh Martial Arts presentation, GATKA, at the University of Waterloo. Brought to you by the Sikh Students' Association of Waterloo, this event will be held on the 24th of this month in the GREAT HALL of the Student Life Center (SLC).

>There will be live Gatka performances with real shastars (weapons), powerpoint presentations, documentaries on the history GATKA, videos and a whole lot more.

>The Demo will start at 12 pm, and will be till 2pm. We would like to see as many people, regardless of ones' religion, to come out and enjoy this event and at the same time learn the history behind Sikhs in the 17th century in comparison to the 20th century.

>Media also has been i invited on this day to spread the awareness of Sikhi to other provinces. Please forward this email to everyone you know, and by guru kirpa this event will be as successful as the others.
