Now It Is Palestine, Muslim Oppression, But...

Recommended Posts

OK I would just like to start off by saying that this post is not in any way promoting hatred towards Muslims.

There is a lot going on in the world today in regards to the Muslims and their greivances. If we listen to the likes of Osama, Nasrrallah in Lebanon, Hamas, Lashkar-e-Toiba in kashmir, etc, we notice that the demands are:

1) free palestine, which is fine

2)stop the killing of innocent muslims by israel and US in Iraq, gaza, lebanon, etc.

3)free muslim prisoners in israeli jails, etc

4) get western troops out of islamic holy places

etc etc.

Many of the muslims, who call themsleves moderates say that these people are killing innocent people because the muslims are being subjugated to oppression by the west. They say that their lands have been forcefully occupied by the israelis and muslims have become refugees. This is also understandable.

Now let's go back in time.

Let's go to a time when the middle east was not under any western control. No oil flowed. no israel existed. Let's go back to a time when Islam reigned supreme and no one questioned or fought the muslim way of life.

Let's go to the time of Babur, let's go back to the time of ahmad shah abdali, let's go to the time of wazir khan, rassa mangar, etc. What was their reason for killing sikh children and putting garlands of thes echildren around the necks of sikh mothers? What was the reason for paying a price for each sikh head?

ok let's go further to 1947. Pakistanis in england are fighting the west these days over Israel. They say Israel took their fellow muslims' land. Can someone please explain what over a million sikhs were when they were kicked out of pakistan? Can we sikhs today as pakistan for our land back? Can we ask for our holy land back? Would these pakistanis, who understand the fate of Palestinians, thousands of miles away, understand our plight?

We keep hearing that all thsi islamic fascism is because of foreign policy, but we must ponder, what foreign policy angered the Mulsims of the 16th, 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries? Is there something we are all missing? Is it not really foreign policy but a culture of violence and hatred?

The western world is tasting these Islamic fascists now and never knew about it before, but as sikhs, we have first hand experience.

This needs insight.

peace.

Interesting post and something that we all need to consider. In the West more and more people are beginning to realise that this not about 'oppression' of Muslims, Palestine or any other Muslim issue. Apart from some die hard liberal lefties whose hatred of Blair and Bush blinds then to what is happening, most people now know that the issue is Islam itself. Islam attempted to take over the world just after its was founded, it oppressed millions from Spain to India. Thankfully some areas of the world were saved from having to live under Sharia law. China, Western Europe, parts of Africa, Indo-China etc. Some attempts were made to get back the holy land of the Christians through the Crusades. Although nowadays universally condemned they were in essence an attempt by Christians to take back wat had originally been their land. Islam was the aggressor in the 7th Century having invaded Christian lands of the middle east. Islam then went into decline and the danger of Islam was forgotten. Now flush with oil money Islam is again threatening the west and other non-Muslim areas.
