there were gursikhs who kept links with all the jathebandis and those who did not and associated themselfs with just one jathebandi which was not the khalsa panth. you see this today. where there is now a thought amongst youth that amrit 4rm one amrit sanchaar or apparent jathebandi is somehow better than another, which is just pathetic. because then u dnt think ur taking amrit 4rm the panj pyare of guru ji but of panj gursikhs of the apparent jatha.

What are you talkin about?Zaffarwal was nice to everyone during that time and many jujahroo's saw him as a gursikh but he played a game with the sikh panth and went to the indian side. KCF singhs of zaffarwal were true to the movement and many of them died for khalistan, does it mean KCF zaffarwal group was bad, NOO. Singhs have been shaheed from zaffarwal KCF,they trusted zaffarwal, they just didn't know what he was playing. About AKJ and babbar khalsa, there were many singhs who weren't AKJ and still joined babbar khalsa like singhs from kastiwal. The singh on bottom was shaheed and he was part of KCF Zaffarwal and his brother as well. About the char jujahroo jatha bandi, they didn't fight or break up, it was divided in to areas.

NO WAY! Is that true? We are both talking about Wassan Singh Zaffarwal, currently in Pakistan, arent we? I never knew he collaborated with the Indian government! Where did you find that out from?!!! Can you prove it?

On the subject of the Babbars: there is a lot of bad things written about them, not in newspapers (to be expected), but in books about the Sikh Freedom movement. I have read that their founder, Sukhdev Singh Babbar , QUOTE: "tried to kill Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Bhindranwale, and as a result were responsible for his forced ejection from Guru Nanak Niwas (part of Sri Harmandir Sahib complex) on the night of 15th December 1983."

"Accused of deserting Bhindranwale, in fact they were never with him. At one point, they were ASKING for arms against him"

Can somebody please tell me whether this is TRUE? How could an organisation committed to freedom for the Sikhs try to KILL BHINDRANWALE?

At another point it states that "the Babbars, which was a group that numbered thrity at the time, escaped Darbar Sahib on the night of 1st June (1984), before the serious fighting began"

I HAVE WANTED TO KNOW FOR A LONG TIME WHETEHER THIS IS TRUE OR NOT. Speaking to AKJ members doesnt help, because they idolise Sukhdev Singh Babbar and would never tolerate such a thought.

On the face of it it looks like there could be some truth in it: apparently the Babbars were formed solely for defending the Panth against the fake nirankaris (Shaheed Bhai Fauja Singh and his jatha made a big sacrifice for the kaum), but never for Khalistan. Many Babbar Khalsa members were former Naxalites, meaning they were communist and saw Hindustan as their motherland which they would never tolerate breaking up. WADAWA SINGH BABBAR is anmed as a fomer naxalite.

Also, I read a leaflet printed by babbar Khalsa/AKJ which said that most people have heard of the sacrifice that Sant Bhindranwale made for his kaum, but they dont know much about the contribution made by Babbar Khalsa.

ALTHOUGH I ADMIT THIS WASNT AN INFLAMMATORY STATEMENT, it offended me that the author should have to denigrate Bhindranwale in this sense.

SOMEBODY PLEASE TELL ME IF WHAT I HAVE READ IS TRUE! I DONT KNOW WHO TO TRUST ANYMORE!

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa!

Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh!

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
