First of all, I don’t claim to follow the SGPC Maryadha and put everyone else down by saying you are following anti panthic maryadha. The Maryadha I follow clearly forbids me from eating meat and I stick with it. But since you are beating the drum about how everyone should follow Akal Takht Maryadha then why don’t you and Ghagha Sahib also follow hukams in the Panthic Maryadha such as doing Naam Simran of “Waheguru”. This is not an optional, but a hukam in the Maryadha you claim to follow.

You yourself claim that Naam Simran is not doing simran of Vaheguru, but instead it refers to Gubani. But Akal Takht Maryadha is clearly doing hukam to you to do Naam Simran of Vaheguru everyday. So who are you going to follow, Sardar Inder Singh Ghagha or are you going to follow the Akal Takht?

And my name is Sher Singh, I live in Windsor Ontario. Next time I am in Bramton, you can visit me at Tapoban and personally deliver to me the letter.

When did I say not to read Bani? Why are you putting words in my mouth? It seems like you think in terms of black or white. So according to YOU, “I said” if you do Naam Simran of Vaheguru, you cannot do Gurbani Paat? When the heck did I say that? I don’t know how you interpreted that out of my posts, but it seems like you are trying to twist what I wrote. I’ve noticed this a lot with people in your Ghagha-Jeeowala camp. You guys take out of context the words of others and twist & misinterpret it to suit your personal agendas. This is dishonesty, and a dishonest person cannot be a Sikh of Guru Gobind Singh Jee. People who are so deceitful cannot preach the truth that they pretend to preach.

Ghagha himself says he does not believe in doing Simran of Vaheguru, yet he claims to follow the Akal Takht Maryadha. This is hypocritical of him considering the fact that the Akal Takht Maryadha clearly says for a Sikh to do Simran of Vaheguru everyday in the morning. Mr. International Akali, so either admit that Ghagha is wrong or admit that Akal Takht is wrong. You cannot put your legs in two different boats. It is either one or the other considering that is the only option you have also given to others here who don’t follow the Akal Takht 100%. So which is it, Akal Takht or Ghagha?

waheguruji ka khalsa waheguruji ki fateh

as mch as you discuss with so many people you will get confuse just do 5 banis path japji sahib,jaap sahib,savaiya,chaupayi sahib,anand sahib, and wear 5 kakars and believe on wot panj pyarey says coz i believe on them only as i took amrit from akal takht{ AMRITSAR}

Nam Japa - To get up each day before sunrise, to clean the body, meditate on God’s Name and recite the Guru’s hymns to clean the mind. Throughout the day, continuously remember God’s Name with every breath.

Dharam di Kirat Karni - To work and earn by the sweat of the brow, to live a family way of life, and practice truthfulness and honesty in all dealings.

Vand Ke Chakna - To share the fruits of one’s labor with others before considering oneself. Thus, to live as an inspiration and a support to the entire community

i hope this will help you a lot

bana and sarbloh bibek...should that be kept before taking amrit?...because i thought that its not mandatory to keep it at the time of taking amrit? wacko.gif

Yes it is very important to keep sarbloh before you take amrit.

Bhai Gurbachan Singh Bindrwala from taksal only taought Gursikhs that kept Sarbloh. When you take amrit it is very important to keep sarbloh from that day on, whats the point of taking amrit from a sarbloh batta yet we dont follow the sarbloh rehit later on in out life. We are sacrificing our life to mahraj our maan (mind) and Dhan (body to waheguroo yet we dont follow these critical Rehits.

Keep this in mind, Bhai Randheer singh says Sarbloh is as important as your Kakars! Theres nothing to say after that! Also read Gurmat Bibek, from Bhai Randheer SIngh.

Yet evrything without naam and amritwela is a waste!

Waheguroo ji ka khalsa, waheguroo ji ki fathe!

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
