GURFATEH JI

pyare gursikhon just wanna share a true story with all of you, please excuse me for my grammer hehehehe :-)

6 months ago my uncle in punjab met me, he was so happy for me that i took amrit from punj, he wanted to share his experience with me.... he never talked bout it b4 coz i was not gursikh that time...............

he is puratan singh of akhand kirtani jatha

i would like to tell you the way he told me................

" Dear son many many years ago when i got married i was a manmukh, use to drink alochol, cut my hairs and never been to sangat.

one day thier was a rehnsabhai kirtan in delhi Rakhaab Ganj Sahib Gurudwara, my friend insisted me to join him to kirtan, firstly i refused him but later i said okai no worries.....

we went there, the samagam was in sooooooooo chardikala, singhs were enjoying the bliss of guru ji's simran but i was the only one there sitting forcibly, coz i was manmukh i never had interest in baani and simran, i was looking at sangat enjoying the bliss....

i came out of gurudwara and sat on grass outside gurghar..... i was bored...

i forced my friend "lets go back plssss" i forced him a lot, he didnt wanted to go coz he said tonight bhai sahib bhai randhir singh ji is coming and he was desperate to have a glimpse of him...... i said yaar havent you seen any gurudware de bhai? all gianis are same khula daara (beards) and kirpan on top, so what gonna be speciall in this bhai randhir singh, lets go home........

i forced him and we started our motorbike and pl

anned to go back home........

it was very very dark those days, we very almost passing a jungle when we heard big noice from our bike and we fell down from bike, after few minutes we stood up and with guru grace we were fine, it was dark... very dark... that was the first time in my life when i said hey waheguru kirpa kar....

we were hardly 5kms aways from gurudwara so i insisted my friend to go back to gurdwara and return home in daylight........

finally we started our bike and came back to gurudwara......

we were shocked to see there in parking that the bike we were driving had no chain, i said impossible....... we realized it was the sound of breaking of bike chain.......

anyways i didnt had much faith on guruji that time, i asked my friend you go and attend rehnsabhai, i am sleeping here on grass, wake me up in morning when u finish kirtan.......

at around 11 pm a car stopped in guru ghar parking and hundreds of sangat came running towards the car, i wanted to see who is there.....

bhai sahib randhir singh ji came out of the car and when i saw his swaroop with shastr bastr i was surprised to see him, it was like.... something was attracting me......... i ran after him .....gurparsaad gurparsaad gurparsaad.... no one was letting me go in front coz it was so crowded... but i was crazy that time to see him from near....... i forced a lot and through some tricks i went inside near the stage, he sat on the stage and i sat on floor exactly in front of the stage........ 4 hours i was looking at him, i couldnt think of anything else, he had so much parkash on his face, his eyes were closed.....

after around 4 hours he opened his eyes and i was sitting in front of him....

as soon as we had eye contact my swaas swaas simran started, my friend was surprised to see aq biiiiiiiiig change in me. finally after rehnsabhai kirtan there was amrit sanchar, i asked my friend i waana be guru wala, he was surprised that before yesterday you was against sikhism values.....

any way i went inside, the pa

nj asked about my wife, they said make her ready for amrit sanchar and she will also get the same rehit maryada what you will get, no differences in sex. She also has to tie dastaaar like you....

i came running back to my house... i knocked my door

knock knock.... my wife opened little bit door and asked me i am here........ i was manmukh so our family life was like hell.....

i said kaure will you take amrit with me......... she was surprised and happy....... she said yes i will...... i said will you tie dastaar too...... she was sooooooooooo happy... immediately she said yes i will......... we went to amrit sanchaar.. the panj pyaare blessed us with amrit......

they kept hands on my head for naam drir, bhai randhir singh ji was there and sooooooooo many naam abyaasees, i could see rangle sajjan around me. when they kept hand on my head, i saw my three (3) previous births, i was bhagat of shiv, i did bhagti of shiv for 3 previous births and i got this gursikh jeevan for mukti........ my swaas simran was at peak and parallel i could see my 3 mothers from previous births. i got up, said gurfateh, i was in bairaag, the panj pyaare asked me..... have you seen everything what we wanted to show you? and i was i bairaag and so thankful to them, i said yes and panj pyaarwe of gr8 kamai gave a smile to me..... thats it

after few years i got a chance to visit those places where i did bhakti in previous janam, it was exactly what panj pyare showed me and surprisingly every one at those places knew me like i am back after sooo many years...

thanx to guru ji and panj pyare

dhan guru dhan panj pyare

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
