looking back at my life again

i see countless mistakes again

i am ashamed of them again

but then why do i still make the same mistakes again?

why do i still feel attraction towards corruption again?

why again?

there is this mystery again

i would love to solve it before this vessel breaks again

Like you say - again and again we all make mistake again

But its the time we understand what really is a mistake again

Is this is a mistake if one dies in vain (Moh)

Well, everyone who is living has to go thru some pain

Is it doing the work for you own gain (Lobh)

This will keep you locked up in the lifecycle chain

Is it warmth at night, with a body not yours to claim (Kaam)

Not only it will bring a name but it will keep you far from being sane

Is it to act and put a bullet thru one's brain (Krodh)

Remember, this is someone's life and you gotta know, this isn't no game

Is it in putting everyone lower and thinking you are the Man (Ahankar)

History is the evidence, Ego will always leave you stranded in a single plane

We "The Sikhs" have been blessed with "Gurbani" to keep us in the Lane....

(And I personally believe the biggest mistake is the mistake of making the mistake again)

Ah! how desirous I was to see the divine Beloved!

It is not the fault of the Beloved that you do not see;

He is before you!

It is the fault of you who recognize Him not.

Everything, whatever you see is nothing else but

The Presence of God!

Oh get a life! Lol. Just joking. That was beautiful.

Now here is mine if anybody is bothered to read it: :@

pray.gif

As long as I have breath I will chant your wondrous name day and night.

If I catch a glance of your grace I will never turn away. Even for a second I would consider it a year.

Even if you may drive me out, I will still chant your wondrous name.

Multiply my tongue so that I may chant your name countless times with a single breath.

You may forget me but never let me forget you.

You have saved fools such as me so please save me too.

Please let me become dust of everyone and serve you eternally.

When you look at me don’t take note of my merits or demerits but make me your own.

I seek no reward but only ask for one thing -

Let me merge with you again like water blending with water.

IK ONG KAAR SATGURU PRASAD!!

Wonderful thread.. please allow me to contribute :

I am so lost and so blue..

I look up to none.. other than you....

Here .. hold my hand n guide me through...

I look up to none.. other than you..

You are my soul n so truee..

Can't trust ne one but you..

Here.. hold my hand n guide me through..

I look up to none .. other than you..

Bhul chuk maaf karnee ji..

just adding my bit to ur post jio-

Since like ever;

Dark ages been blocking my view

Over n over seeing n doing Déjà vu

I’ve been stuck up with the world view

Represented U only with a Khanda tattoo

Everyday I woke up n thought its new n lets turn it into a debut

But till now I’ve been bouncing around like a pool cue

For me, It’s U who has always been a taboo

It’s you; I had never seen n never knew

Maybe I just never wanted to

Or maybe coz of that big saddle shoe

But when I fell, u the one who pulled me thru

I think it’s about the time I do a whole review

I look up to none.. other than you..

I look up to none.. other than you..

Here .. hold my hand n guide me through...

Hold my hand n guide me through...

Bhul Chul mauff .....

Here I Make My Stand

They did us like they did every other nation in their path

The same way they did they destroyed Africa, the glory of Timbuktu

the Aztecs, Incas,

Same way they did the Jews.

Just like they killed off the Native American,

They Tried to genocide us too.

They put chains around our necks,

Impoverished us, bound us to our now worthless land.

They broke our ladder to freedom and success.

Unknowingly, we continued to break our backs

Feeding them,

Empowering them

Providing them with the very means they used to hold us down.

It's said that a farmer's land is closer to him than his own life.

They KILLED our land, takin our means to life

Massacring our Way of life.

They put chains around our neck.

And believe me, they tried

Tried hard.

To chain down our soul and break our spirit.

They failed

A Khalsa is free.

Always Free

A Khalsa doesn't KNOW how to be chained down

He simply CAN'T be chained down.

He's incompatible with they very concept.

61 years of slavery.

Hah. Slavery

I bow to none

I bow to one.

I am the spawn of AKAL

The deathless one.

With Death at my feet

I dance to the beat

of the battle drum.

Because,

HERE I make my stand.

La Revolucion reborn

Inkalaabi resurrected.

We rise to arms

With bir rass we're infected.

It lay dormant for years,

Yet today it awakens

Breaking the chains off our necks

Breakin the necksof the sorry fools that put them there.

We fight for freedom

And we fight for Truth

Warriors of Truth, we fight for One

Lock 'n' load your gun, I'm from Khalistan son

-Laadli Fauj

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
