Nihang Singhs

I have a question about nihang singhs... i have always admired them for their devotion to god but recently someone told me that Akal Thakat has declared that nihang singhs are not part of sikhi, is that true ?? :lol: i am really confused and dont know what to think. Could you please help ? :D

There were Nihang Singhs who were great Gursikhs but with time this sect has become more like a mafia than Gursikh organization. I personally know Nihangs who work to seize properties for others and mostly young Nihangs are Nihangs to escape from criminal charges. It is sad truth that mostly Nihangs have criminal charges against them but do not forget that Nihang tradition is not as bad as people who are following this tradition are... This happens to everything and happening to Sikhs. I would suggest keep yourself away from this political environment and stay on true messages of Sikh Gurus and concentrate on Gurbani live as per Gurbani as much as you can and love everyone.

yea, it's sad that a lot of nihangs in india drink bhang. (bhang for those of you who haven't heard of it, is a drink made of water and marijuana leaves, which causes an altered state of consciousness, or a high/nasha) this is true, i've seen it with my own eyes. truly sad...

There are only few Nihang Singh's to whom we can Say Guru Ki Ladli Fauj .. lots of Nihangs are now not a true Singh now like phula .. he raped Girls, he was a land mafia , killer and did lots of things against sikhi..In Karnal harayana there is a Nihang chauni ... which have crap callin them self Nihang singhs. i was goin to delhi once and a Nihung was also travelin with me .. he said Singh Sahib ji Kuj khao ge .. main keha nahi ji bass sab anand bhali .. he said dekh lao main tan apni gharwali nu bibi nu keha si ki 10 andya (eggs) di bhuji bana ke rakh la .. je khana tan aa jao .. i said nahi ji ehh sabb app chak sakde ho parr main nahi ... then he said hor kuj nahi ta sukha maal hi chakk lo .. then i ask him kehda suka maal he said afeem .. that time i want to slap him .. but main ehna keh ke hi chup ho gaya ki Tusi shayad Guru di bachan bhul gaye ho.. akali nihang ji ehh rahh theek nahi Guru di ladli fauj vich dakhla tan le leya parr guru ke ladle bann nahi sake .. bass hor kuj kehna main theek nahi samjhya coz sum pandit was also there ... and main ehh soch ke chup ho gaya ke je main kuj zayeda kehna te ehna pandita ne sadi kaum da mazak bana lain ke sikh ho ke apas chh hi ladi jande aa .. but yeah there are lots of nice Nihung singh too who fight for there Panth .. like Baba Nihal singh ji Harian belan wale who fight against Masand at Gurdwara Paunta sahib ... .. singho bhul chuk maaf karni ..Waheguru ji ka Khalsa Waheguru ji ki Fateh

hmm..it is possible that drug peddlers in Punjab have taken to disguising themselves by wearing the attire of Nihungs to escape quick detection and pass below the radar.
