The kirpan will never be allowed on planes in the U.S. and Canada, etc... That I can guarantee... People here are scared if a we get on a plane after being thoroughly checked 3 times, imagine if they allow us to get on with kirpans.......

But on flights on which there are indeed people on board with weapons/knives (ceremonial or otherwise) legaly or illegaly...you can be sure that a few armed Air Marshals would have boarded the flight as well.
