Sikh_Awareness_Society
Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji Ki Fateh, Sadh Sangat Ji, Sikh Awareness Society (SAS) is non-profit organization raising awareness to key issues affecting the Sikh community, works to document and expose hate crime and human rights violations. SAS works to highlight serious crimes against Sikhs in Britain and India - including assault, abuse, rape, forced prostitution, and trafficking – crimes that have been racially motivated, on the basis of Sikh history or Politically driven. SAS is working on groundbreaking legal development and working with the English law to hold individuals criminally responsible for racially motivated sexual abuse or grooming of Sikh women. The SAS plays a unique role in combating violence against Sikh women. Using adopted rules and procedures to ensure that women are not discriminated against under Punjabi mentality or traumatized in court. Victims are provided with counselling and other support. We are looking for writers who can document the following: * Documentation of hate-crime. * Documentation of Sikh human right violations internationally. * Articles exposing the Political undermining of Sikhs taking place in India. * Articles of greater understanding of Sikhi concepts If you feel you are able to write about any of these topics we would like to hear from you. All expenses will be covered. The_1_Don_Singh
"racially motivated sexual abuse or grooming of Sikh women." What does that mean? 'Grooming' means, when someone gives affection to (in this case) a sikh girl. It could be with presents, like mobile phone, jewellery, money and showing (fake) love towards them to lure them.

Thanks for the clarification. Could Sikh Awareness Society, or anyone else who knows, please give more info on the seminar planned for the 24th?
