Dear Sangat jee,

Gur Fateh

"Nak tay makhi behan nahi deni,Sir the pagdi rehan nahi deni" was the slogan raised by Shiv sena activists which led to the violent clash with SAD(Amritsar) activists recently at Taran Taaran .

Taran Taaran police chief Pravin Sinha is openly supporting Shiv sena and calling Mann supporters as "fundamentalists".

It must be recalled that a similar slogan was given by Harbans lal Khanna of the BJP in the 1980's when Sant Bhindranwale was in the Darbar Sahib Complex.

Khanna gave this slogan :

"dukki tikki khahen nahi deni, sir tay pagdi rahen nahi deni"

In those days the ankhi Gursikhs could not take this slogan lying down and later Khanna was shot dead on April2,1984 .

The News report in Sikh times says :

April 2, 1984 Harbans Lal Khanna, a former M.L.A. and B.J.P.'s Amritsar district president, is shot dead along with his bodyguard. Eight people are killed and nine injured during the funeral procession the next day.

Nowadays the Shiv Sena,Hindu Yuva manch and some other communal groups are doing the same but this time they are openly challenging the Sikhs and daring them to do anything against them.Read below :

Im quite certain the BJP who is aligned to badal dal in clandestinely helping these communal hindu parties to polarise the vote bank in Punjab.badal dal is openly helping them.

Shiv sena,Hindu yuva manch dont have much support in Punjab but badal dal and congress is helping them for their own electoral gains.Badal dal youth leader youth leader Tajinderpal Tinda(with trimmed beard and wearing green turban) is seen in the picture below with a Shiv sena goon complaining to the police against Mann supporters :

The complexity of congress in this case can be understood from the fact that congress leader Darbari lal went to the hospital to enquire about the well being of the "shiv sena" leaders after the incident.

Meanwhile badal has started showing his true colors. Now he says he "regrets" burning of Article 25 of the indian constitution in the 1980s.Article 25 mentions Sikhism as a part of Hinduism.

At the same time yesterday's kisan rally by SAD(Amritsar) at Barnala was a great success.Even a so called moderate English newspaper "Tribune" reported that thousands of farmers from all over Punjab attended the rally:

Barnala Rally by SAD(Amritsar)

This Barnala rally of Shiromani Akali Dal(Amritsar) was "totally " ignored by the electronic media in India.

Sikhs should wake up before it's too late.

More trouble brewing. Maybe in the west we are not understanding the implications of all these incidents. "Nak tay makhi behan nahi deni,Sir the pagdi rehan nahi deni" is a dangerous slogan, reminds me of the hindu mobs in Delhi 1984 saying “kach, kara, kirpan, bhejdo pakistan”. Energies are spent lobbying for Khalistan but the foundations are still weak. It looks like Punjab needs our help now and the global Sikh community has to do what they can to back the right people. For a racist mob to enter Taraan Taran and taunt the Sikh Kaum with such slogans clearly shows how intense the situation in Punjab really is and how politically weak we actually are in Punjab.

these quotes were said by a hindu lala name bhajan lal i believe, he was some kind o leader in himachal harayana area. He said these things during the dharam yudh morcha and sant jee were furious about it,so lala was no more. we should be ashamed that today we are doing nothing against shiv sena.
