I know that kaam is wrong, kaam is when you go around sleeping with different women all the time, but is it still wrong to be dealing with things like p*rn? is it wrong to do that with p*rn? i think alot of you are going to say its wrong, but i want an honest answer, it might best for you if you PM me if you want,up to you. I REALLY want this question answered, but if ADMIN really want to take it off, then ok, but i would like some replies, i need help on this path, you could still PM me if they take off this topic. Bhaji i was in your situationa a 2 months ago , i know its really hard to fight kaam but bhaji their is a way out with guru's kirpa i heard a kirtan updesh by Bhai Guriqbal singh, he said increase the amount of sukhmani sahib ji paath you do daily to fight anyone one of the five vikaars witch is most heavy on you and do pray.gif ardass afterwards to Satguru to help you fight it.

Bhaji this method had been apllied in practical and IT WORKS 100%.

KAAM means sexual desire

according to me.. (and this is honest answer) lookign at P--n is a sign of weakness. Its a sign of lack of self control. Soldiers don't do such stuff.

To me, it is a disgusting act because it leads to mental images/fantasies --> even worse than the actual act!

So is p--n wrong? er...DUH! lol

what is p*rn? is it not kaam? is kaam right? you would watch things like this for sexual pleasure would you not?

i dont remeber the exact panktee but guru sahid ji states that even for a second of sexual pleasure you shall spend million of years in hell. i'm not sure if thats the right translation but can sumebody help me out here? like bhenji above said yes it is wrong!!

Without a doubt it's wrong.

ਅਖੀ ਸੂਤਕੁ ਵੇਖਣਾ ਪਰ ਤ੍ਰਿਅ ਪਰ ਧਨ ਰੂਪੁ ॥

Which means looking at other women, wealth and beauty of others (in a lustful way) is impurity of the eyes.

also,

ਪਰ ਤ੍ਰਿਅ ਰੂਪੁ ਨ ਪੇਖੈ ਨੇਤ੍ਰ ॥

a Sikh should not look at other women's bodies.

Bhai Gurdas jee says, "dekh paraieeyaa(n) changeeaa(n), maava(n) bhaina(n) dheeaa(n) janai"

meaning that when you see other women (besides your wife of course), see them as mothers, sisters or daughters. Would you be happy to see your mother or sister in these pictures and in those situations?

This is a big problem and a big hurdle in Sikhi. A Gursikh absolutely cannot look at this sort of thing. The women posing are often exploited and have been forced to do this type of work due to hardships in life. By looking at it, you are indirectly contributing to their suffering. Do you want that karma on your head?

Finally, when a question like this comes up, ask yourself: would Guru Sahib be doing this? Would I be ok doing this with Guru Sahib watching? It's not a hypothetical it's a reality that Guru Sahib is watching.

I remember a line from the Guru about how Saints don't needlessly spill their semen.

ਬਿੰਦੁ ਨ ਰਾਖਿਆ ਸਬਦੁ ਨ ਭਾਖਿਆ ॥

बिंदु न राखिआ सबदु न भाखिआ ॥

bind na raakhi-aa sabad na bhaakhi-aa.

He does not preserve his semen and seed, and does not chant the Shabad

and

ਬਿੰਦੁ ਨ ਰਾਖਹਿ ਜਤੀ ਕਹਾਵਹਿ ॥

बिंदु न राखहि जती कहावहि ॥

bind na raakhahi jatee kahaaveh.

You do not control your seed and semen, and yet you claim to practice abstinence..

and importantly

ਸੁਪਨੈ ਬਿੰਦੁ ਨ ਦੇਈ ਝਰਨਾ ॥

सुपनै बिंदु न देई झरना ॥

supnai bind na day-ee jharnaa.

He does not lose his semen, even in his dreams;
