lol im sure he didnt mean very disease! anyway i completely agree with him. homosexuality is simply giving in to maya, bestower of diseases. Woman was born alongside man for many reasons, marriage and children being two of them. as homosexuality is not mentioned in gurbani, it must not even be worth mentioning because it is NOT a status, it is simply a state of mind.

This is the love that we should all pray for every single day. and if waheguru is pleased with us he will shower us with it. All Sikhs of the Guru are role models, therefore a Gursikh must realise that they are a living representation of GurMaryada to the world. Our actions (mental & physical) represent outGuru's teachings.

We have a responsiblity of attempting to be a true Sikh to our Guru and the Khalsa Panth. If we want to remain on the path of Guru ji then people like your friend have to battle and overcome their homos*xual feelings because no rehatnama, no sakhia, on tuks of Gurbani supports a homos*xual lifestyle just like a promiscious hetros*xual lifestyle is not promoted.

Homosexuality is not a feeling, it's a way of life. Just like being straight is a way of life. You can't get rid of it. You're born that way. If everything is in god's will, then why can't certain people just accept god's will? Unless, of course, everything is not god's will and we decide who we are from the moment we are born, not because someone has programmed it into us.

Either everything is god's will or it isn't. You can't do it halfway, so you tell me.
