Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa!

Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!

MKhalsa, at least don't insult the Bhagats of Guru Ji as mere 'humans', I didn't expect this from you. You ever heard of the Gurbani tuk 'Har Ka Sewak Har Hee Jeha?' Does that tell you how we should respect Mahapurukh?

Well full respect to all baba jees, sants etc (except the fake ones).. but i personally don't care about their history or what they did or what they said to do etc neither they everwanted to get the fame etc... personally.. at a moment im busy understanding the gurmukhi.. tongue.gif which gonna help me to reach guru's Charan.. All great chardi kala sants/maha-atma came and passed their test in human form and reached saachkhand, BUT they ain't gonna help you to pass the test.. AT THE END.. it's only you who gonna pass it and you shudn't worship them or even PRAISE em.. worship, praise the only and only guru.. which is guru granth sahib !

Sants that help you in understanding Guru Ji mean nothing? I find that hard to believe. Baba Isher Singh Ji inspiring and encouraging 7 lakh people to take Amrit means nothing in your own individual path?

We just dismiss everyone as fake these days, so sad to see this narrow mindedness creeping into Sikhi, similar to the Wahabism in Islam. :@

OOps... sorry.. acutally i was telling my personal opinion.. like how it effects me.. in my family my mum got into sikhi by reading bhai sahib randheer singh jees book "jail chitten" and loads of books by bhai vir singh.. and i think it's singhs like those who keep the sikhs strong in sikhi.. FUll respect to them, but we shouldn't treat them as our guru sahib or consider them as the above of all humans.. like kings.. True sant figures like for instance baba nand singh jee would never want sikhs (US) to consider him as the Greatest sikh sant or other high respectful figure.. (Hope u guys understand waht im saying)..

similar to the Wahabism in Islam

long time ago on this forum.. i requested sangat not to use that term, just cauz u don't agree with them.. Same goes with Word "taliban"..

i dont know if you know but admins announced that "<admin-profanity filter activated>" is a banned word on this forum (thanks to n30) and im surprised admins havent give u a warning... :@

anyway, I have total respect for such mahapurshes. but why dwell on the past? yes they had great accomplishments, but instead of dwelling on what they did i would rather work myself from a total manmukh to a bhagat and accomplish that myself. why live through others? do it yourself, guru sahib will guide you.

I would rather be a bhagat than worry about what other bhagats have said or done. my only concern is guru sahib.

how is this disprespect? also they are human, again how is this disrespect calling a human a human? and saying they are less than guru sahib, is this also disrespect? guru sahib is above all and humans are mortal. Yes those great souls are probably living on in sachkhand, but they are no longer human then, now they are something special as they have attained sachkhand. But again how do we know? can you see sachkhand that you know they are there? im not doubting any gursikhs mentioned in this thread, just something to think about.

I would rather worry about my own sikhi and my own avastha than others.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
