Wearing Kirpan To Court (uk)

I need to go to court, due to the LAW A Level I am doing. However I wear a kirpan and I am not allowed in. Does anyone have any documents in which I can show to the security guard, so I can wear my kirpan to court.

Also have any other amritdharies managed to go to court, with their kirpans on

Please see the attached policy document which states that:

"...it is HMCS policy that, where the overall length does not exceed six inches in length, and the blade itself not exceeding roughly four inches in length, the individual should not be asked to remove it. The individual should be asked to conceal the kirpan, if not already done so. Such requests should be made discreetly and with courtesy. Where the Kipran exceeds these lengths, permission can be refused to enter the premises. However, a senior manager should be consulted with before this decision is conveyed to the wearer."

I have got into the Royal Courts of Justice in London with my Kirpaan on. As mentioned above, the Kirpaan must not be bigger than 4 inches --> the security guard at the RCJ knew this, and he let me in.

Daas also got in to the Crown Court with a 6 inch kirpan the blade was around 4 inchs long! So its fine!

i think we have documents that says were allowed to wear kirpans in scotland. i dont know if that wil help u though....i could upload the documents if u want jst let me know

ive been 2 court wiv my kirpan on

but it has 2 be under 4 inches lukly mine was!!

Went in today to Royal Court of Justice Strand London. Kirpan under my shirt no problems with security just say you have a kirpan .
