Absolutely Disgusting Man...

Gurfateh Ji,

You all may remember the famous Inderjeet Singh, who was caught in California on the show "Dateline - To Catch a Predator". He was trying to solicit an underage girl (12 or 13 years old) for sex online, and then showed up to the house and was caught by the Dateline Staff. And then there was another one, Jaswinder Cheema, in the previous investigation. And in the latest one, that just aired, another sikh has been caught. 23 year old Satinder Thind. You can watch the clip here:

http://video.msn.com/v/us/msnbc.htm?f=00&a...912603/&fg=

You may see a small advertisement before the clip. You can forward to about 4 minutes and 9 seconds, and you will see him. You can see him there without any dastaar or patka, only his kes made into a jooda. I couldn't believe this when I was watching it. I was just thinking, "oh, not again..." It's so wrong, and embarassing to have such members in the panth.

*Warning* Younger members probably shouldn't watch without some parental supervision, due to sexually explicit language. They tried to censor the words, but is still explicit.

Please excuse me if this topic has already been discussed, as I did a search and didn't find anything.

That's a frikin disgrace man.

The guy is showing his gutti to the whole world, what the hell is that. On top of that this stupid act of child porn. :@ @ :)

It seems that every nation's Sikh Community has problems. UK has problems with doing religious beadbi. Canada has problems with killing of wives and family based marriages, and now USA has problems with Sikh Perverts.

WHAT <admin-cut> IS GOING ON........ :@ . Honestly man, I am sick to my stomach watching this video.

Mod note: watch your language.

Gurfateh ji,

I was unaware of the host's opinions on sikhs. And I agree that there are sick people in other communities too. But I don't know about how we compare. Think about it. Even if the host is against sikhs, out of the 8 investigations that they aired, 3 had sikhs by name, and out of those 3, 2 had kes, and out of that, 1 appeared gursikh. Now think about how many non-sikhs compared to sikhs there are in the US... The fact that there are 3 sikhs (and not to mention, the incredibly high number of indians) out of 8 shows, is quite high. And it's not like they set it up... There's a group called Perverted Justice who runs the operation, and the host just asks the questions... He has no control of who shows up, who is chatting online, etc. So even if he is against sikhs, that really wouldn't have affected the outcome. What that guy did was wrong. What everybody did was wrong, but people here, in the UK, Canada, who see the show, are going to remember that one guy who stuck out of the show... the sikh dude, and then go and then relate sikhs to these disgusting perverted acts. It's sad, but it's human nature to do so. That's why it makes my blood boil to see this type of stuff. Most sikhs are hard working honest people, and we work hard to bring a good reputation to our names. Like SALDEF, SCORE, Sikh Coalition, is constantly fighting for our honor. Honor that was taken away from us as we were confused for terrorists, etc. And as we're slowly getting it back, something like this comes up and its just frustrating and embarassing. And also just plain wrong.

Bhul Chuk Maaf karna ji...

The host is always on the back of sikhs, i don't like it.. i heard that dude is always against sikhs in america from the start.. agreed that there are few sickooss in our community but we cannot even dare to compare to number of sickos in other communities..

i think this goes back to the whole debate about people just keeping kesh without even an ounce of pyaar or satkaar for sikhi saroop. there are a lot of sikhs out there who believe that everyone should just keep kesh, period, but the problem with this is what we have here. we have people who adorn the dastaar and don't have a clue about moral responsibilties of a sikh. that's why all the sikhs on the path out there, take your time, learn gurbaani and don't let people make you feel like scum for taking your time on the path of sikhi.

that's why we have all these young kids on this forum who take amrit and start threads about, i think i committed a bujjer kurehit, i took amrit and now i'm confused, and on and on.

learn what it means to wear a dastaar and to keep kesh. trust me the panth will be better for it. even in the 80s movement many peple started keeping kesh, including the shady characters, and thsu we have our sikh on sikh violence and the eventual destruction of a great movement.

sorry to offend anyone.

peace.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
