How To Prevent Sarbloh Kara From Getting Rusty?

So I have a sarbloh kara. In the first week after I started wearing it I would always get orange spots on it after it would get wet. Then the orange spots became less frequent and I would wipe off my kara too when wiping my hands dry. Now my kara had lost its shine that it had when I got it new...it had a dark gray shade all over. Finally I just used Brasso to clean the rust off. But I am wondering if there is something else I can do to prevent it from rusting. If all the sarbloh kara wearers would post and tell me if that is normal to have a rusted kara like that or what do you do? Thanks!

rubb your karra with SAND to clean it and apply some vaseline etc (oily) to keep it out of touch of humidity. Karray get rusty cause of humidity, from body or air or while taking bath. Best way to keep it shiny is to clean it regularly.

i kinda like the dark grey colour compared to the really shiny colour!! makes me look more manly :bringitondude :lol::

iv been told to leave my kara in a bowl of boiling water with some lemon juice in it, n then rub the kara with like a paper towel or summink!! i dus work!!

BUT dnt use a paper towel, use lyk a roughish cloth dat will get off the rust better, n u can wash the cloth n reuse it!!!!! saves u money so you dnt have 2 go n buy paper towels!!!!

it must be coated with something may be tin .... see the inside side is it also silver ????
