we may aswell not sing gurbani then huh... yeah your right it 'should' be about the actual gurbani but some particular tunes and also the voice of the person singing the keertan compliments the gurbani and sets the mood and even makes you concentrate on the meanings, so you cant totally neglect these things..

its only a thread of keertani who have inspired people to listen to gurbani so dont think there any need to make a hoo haa about it...
