^^ you didnt take amrit, amrit is a gift given to some by guru sahib. you cannot take something that doens't belong to you or put a price on. such a thing can only be given to you by someone who has it

For me, the fact that the Guru in his third form and seventh form were at the extremes of age shows that it doesn't matter what age you are - you can meet Waheguru at any age. As long as you have sufficient sense to understand what you aer doing and enough understanding of Sikhi, you can take Amrit.

brother/sister, age is irrelivent, the youngest sahibzade was amrit dhari when they 5 and baba dee singh was amrit dhari was they were 80 odd

it alls boils down 2 r u able 2 cope with the responsibility

SOME Gursikh's have said that a Sikh follower should atleast take Amrit BEFORE there in their 30's cos this is NO QUOTE of nothin, but Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji was in their 30's when they took Amrit - so to be able to do enough Paat etc and keep constant Rehit before death you gotta have done enough ..... i duno about whats the minimum age - i always thought kids took Chula iswell....

Guru sahib was a sikh! if he was a sikh thn im assuming he took charnamrit from his Gurupita maharaj(Guru Teg Bahadur ji) so saying that Guru sahib took amrit when he was in his 30s :umm: could confuse people like me.
