nice kirpan. Perhaps if your makin em next time, u might wanna tel them to pur the edges on the other side, as its better. Just an idea phan ji.

bhanji jkaur je, i advice u to tell the maker of the kirpan to have the teeths on the side for the slashing. It is much more effective in battle than the other way around.

singh sahib, if similar kirpans were used by puratan Singhs in battle they wouldn't want the 'teeth' or bumps on the side because those Singhs would want to have really sharp side so it could go 'in' easily and when they would take it out, it would mess up everything by making holes moreover it's easier to slide something without bumps then the other way round.

I think it's more practical the way it is right now.
