LeriVaar saroop

TAKEN FROM YAHOOGROUPS (Veer jee makes a very good point)

LeriVaar saroop of SRI GURU GRANTH SAHIB JI

My dearest Pyire Sadhsangat Jio,

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa

Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

Our Sikh Rehat Maryada from the very beginning has stressed on using the original form LeriVaar saroop which I, till today agree fully as this was how it was compiled from the beginning by our GURU's.

But, no doubt that Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji in lerivaar is difficult to read and often results in wrong reading eventhough after much practise.

This is my humble sincere opinion only, that is to print SGGS shabads with different colour codes i.e odd numbers with blue colour and even number by red colour, which in a way will be clear to read, but at the same time protect its reader from mistakes, at the same time having it in lerivaar continuos line.

As example,

JiaseeMeinAawaiKhasamKiBaniTaisaraKariGianVeLalo (p.g 52)

The colour font can be any preference as per the printers choice agreed by the panth.

Please think this over and have a discussion on this acceptability, in terms of Gurmat View.
