Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh!!!!

I am new to this forum and congractulate all of the members on being a part of such a fantastic forum..........

Now regarding the debate, i wud first say that gud or bad, the efforts are worth an applause thumbs_up.gif

I dont know which way to go, but i am against this gurmukh-manmukh thing. bibi ji thinks that manmukhs dont deserve a dastar?? U tell me, the person who, by Guru ji's hukum, bears kes, even if he is self centered doesn't deserve a dastar? I think that any one who bears sikhi saroop has a right to bear dastar. I am in NO WAY supporting manmukhs, but practically, i think it is nearly impossible to be a total gurmukh. One needs to be a partial at least.

Now, one time think that it is just fun but the other time i think that a dastar on cropped hair is a 'be-adbi' of dastar.

Anyways, those were my veiws!!!!

Bhool Chuk Maaf Karni....................

haha is it me or does anyone else find it funny haha

Man!!! Is it really funny. I think u are a newbie to english. The dictionary meaning of bear is 'to have'. Go check it chump!!

I'm sorry if I offended anyone by using Manmukh. I was trying to use a word that was the opposite of a Gursikh. But what I meant is that there shouldn't be a dastaar on that marvel character because he is not in full bana. His clothes are too tight and he is an insect. Therefore, I feel that it disrespects the image of a Sikh.

Sorry again if I have offended anyone.

This ain't really the point singhni ji. I wear a jeans with t-shirt all the time with dumalla on head. So i am not in full bana, so does that mean that i dont deserve the dastar on my head?? What in my opinion is right is that one should bear the 5 K's (if amritdhari) and can wear DECENT clothes to go with modernisation. This will help us preserve our Basic religious heritage!!!!!!!

Theres a big difference between you and spiderman. Firstly, he's just a character and you're real. Secondly, he's an insect and you're human (are you?). Thirdly, his clothes are too revealing and you're clothes aren't. I'm going to bother proving myself to you.

You children can carry on having you're fun now. When you grow up you'll realise.

Singhni ji, i am not comparing myself with spiderman so why are u?? I was just contradicting ur statement about the full bana. I mean, u will become a laughing lot if u bear the full bana in my age. If u read my first comment, I, in no way supported this but dint have much to say about except cropped hair. Dastaar has only to do with Kes!!!!!

P.S- I thot that i really was a human. Sikhs are humans actually, i thot!!!!!!!!

singhni ji... sorry to say... but being an insect dosen't show disrespect to sikhi in any way... by saying this... u r trying to say that small is powerless... even guru gobind singh ji used to have a baaj ... now, will u say that guru ji should not have a baaj... instead, they should have a lion... singhni ji... think urself... sikhi is all about god and god is not only for humans... insects r also made by god...

u say that we will understand all this when we will grow up but i had shown this other grown up gursikhs.. and they just applauded me...

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
