Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa!

Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!

I UNDERSTAND HOW IMPORTANT IT IS TO KEEP YOUR HAIR. BUT FRM WOT I KNOW, IT DOESNT SAY ANYTHING IN THE SGGS ABOUT KEEPING HAIR. BUT I KEEP MY HAIR ANY WAY.

BUT SAY IF U SHAVE AN PLUK YOUR EYEBROWS, BUT YOU U KEEP THE HAIR ON YOUR HEAD, AN U HAV NEVA ONCE CUT IT IN YOUR LIFE, THATS WRONG ISNT IT?

COS I WAS AT AT THE GURDWARA ONCE AN I WAS HAVIN LANGAR, AN I HEARD A GIRL TELLING HER FRIENDS HOW IMPORTANT IT IS TO NOT CUT YOUR HAIR, AN YET SHE PLUKS HER EYEBROWS AN EVERYHING ,BUT KEEPS HER HEAD HAIR, (I WAS SO PEEEEEEEEEED OF, I FELT LIKE TELLING HER STRAIGHT, BUT THEN I THOUGHT, NO, BEST NOT) HAIR IS HAIR AT THE END OF THE DAY, ISNT IT? OR ISNT IT?

Guru Sahib talks about hair many many times!!

Guru sahib says that when you meditate all your hairs vibrate as well. They say that a doctor put his stethescope to Baba Kartar Singh Jee's (dam dami taksal) arm and he could hear "waheguroo waheguroo waheguroo" coming out of the hairs!

Hair stores, manages, releases the energy of bhagti and much more. if we even remove a single hair it throws the system. we are a finely tuned machine

waheguru jee ka khalsa! waheguru jee kee fateh!!

just to add to what Mkhalsa has said...

gurmuiK roim roim hir iDAwvY ]

guramukh rom rom har dhhiaavai ||

The Gurmukh meditates on the Lord with every hair of his body.

romy roim roim romy mY gurmuiK rwmu iDAwey rwm ]

romae rom rom romae mai guramukh raam dhhiaaeae raam ||

With each and every hair, with each and every hair, as Gurmukh, I meditate on the Lord.

roim roim rivAw hir nwmu ]

rom rom raviaa har naam ||

The Lord's Name permeates each and every hair of mine.

Once in katha a gursikh was saying that as sikhs...we are meant to stay the way that we were born. Not to touch anything part of our body and change it. We are meant to be natural and accept what God has given us at birth...and in a keertan tape of Bhai Jeevan Singh Jee, he was saying that if you cut your hair, it's like you are cutting off one of your jeeves (tongues)...we obviously dont' think of it that way...but if in every hair WAHEGURU resounds we shoudl think of it that way
