my cuzins had a german sheppard and a rotweiler (however u spell it :$)...n they gave em roti everyyy day (no meats at all)

n they were both very healthy n lived a long time

can a sikh have a dog as a pet and if so what would u feed it would be ok to feed it the meat that u get in tins or would that be wrong and if not why not ??????

Its up to you. If you have no problems with handling meat and it's not against your Reht, then by all means, have a pet.

If it is, however, then you can still have a pet, but it's have to be a vegetarian one lol, like a bird or something.

yea its fine, i have a dog and i feed it meat, i dont eat meat cuz am amritdhari but it dosent mean i crnt feed my dog

Believe it or not but a dog does not have to be fed meat. I know many Dog owners who do not feed their Dogs meat yet they are strong and healthy!

We don't eat meat for pleasure. Its natural that dogs eat meat, they are carnivores, its the way God made them.
