Prof. Puran Singh Ji has written a ton of amazing books that you might want to check out...he has written i think an 8 book set volume called Spirit of the Sikh which is truly inspiring. Also, another amazing book he's written is Spirit Born People.

Another Bhai Veer Singh ji book to add would Gurmukh Sikhiya which is in punjabi...it's an amazing book...currently reading it...it's all about doing simran and answers a lot of questions...really really inspiring...

Also, a Gurmukh piyaray has written 132 short booklets in punjabi under the pen name Khoji, which explains sikhi according to what gurbani says....very inspiring...also some articles are available in english including:

Power of Thoughts

Divine Religion

Oasis in the desert of Maya

very inspiring books...can be picked up at samagams and many gurudawaras in north america and india

Also, there is an american writer who has offered a lot of spiritual insight named J. Goldsmith. One book you might want to check out is Practicing the Presence.

oh ...almost forgot....Autobiography of a Yogi is an AMAZING book written by Pamahansa Yogananda....

Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa!

Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!

Found this website with loads of ebooks. I couldn't find any Sikh related books, except for Songs of Kabir by Rabindranath Tagore and Hira Singh by Talbot Mundy but they have a lot of ebooks that you can download for free. There in txt format so they don't look very nice but there's tips on how to convert them, and there's also some ebooks in Microsoft reader format. The Hira Sing book sounds pretty interesting, its about some brave Sikh soldiers I believe. The following quote is from a New York Times article dated July 1915: "For Sikhs to attempt what they carried through, even under such splendid leadership as Ranjoor Singh's, was to defy the very nth degree of odds. To have tried to tell the tale otherwise than in Hira Singh's own words would have been to varnish gold."

Before I forget, here's the link abacci ebooks/books

There's a lot of other books on religion and philosophy, but like I said not much on Sikhism. I read the book Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse (fiction) last week and thought it was a great story. Was only about 100 pages long, if you read a chapter at a time (about 10 pages) and take breaks you could easily finish that book in a day.
