Waheguru ji ka khalsa Waheguru ji ki Fateh,

Since taking Amrit what is the most important thing you have learnt;

If not amritdhari, what do you hope to learn from your amritdhari friends

Myself > Since taking amrit I have learnt that the more you learn, you realise how much you stilll don't know and my soul continually wants to just "get there" with help from a lot of jaap and time for my Guru. I Yet don't feel I have made enough time. Recently though think there has been found a way from truly enlifghtened Guru skihs and ..........Asa vi uthe janaa...... WA HE GU RUU, waheguru waheguru..Every Saturday respect.gif !!

Ok please post.........,

Waheguru ji ka khalsa Waheguru ji ki fateh,

Was bored, so i'l post more.....

I have also learnt, since taking amrit, that Real peace of mind happens when we can tolerate people and their views and not judge based on their views and learn from their experiences to better ourselves

I have also learnt that the snagat we keep is The most important thing when we want to reach any kind of avastha, spirituality

Would really like to hear from sangat >>

im not amritdhari, however i hope with gurujis blessing i will be ready soon. I have a learnt a lot from my amritdhari friends, not only how it is possible in this western world to live how guruji taught us, but they have also given me strength and advice and kept me on the right path. I truly think all amritdharis shouldnt isolate themselves from monas, i think they should try to teach others about sikhi.

After Amrit.. i realised that being open to humanity is the biggest sense of freedom.. by being worry-free even during exam period is the best feeling to love with..

And.. by being closed-minded I had limited myself to knowledge of Sikhi and its interaction with life.

Plus, I'm learning Gatka - which gave me the lesson that physical discipline helps and can mirror to aid spiritual discipline

One thing I learnt from an Amritdhari is resilience. I remember the rough times he had growing up around racists and other really hard times he went through as an adult. But he still stayed solid and open minded to everyone. He never let these experience make him hateful.
