PS - They were given magnifying glasses to read them.

lollll

i rekon its too small, at least wrap the saroop in a ramala, i wouldnt feel so hurt if they made the saroop the size of an aerage size book, notebook, so its readable and ur able to look after it easily, its uncomfortably small ,but that cud be me.

i agree that the soldiers may want to take guru ji with them, but guru is with us all the time, it says in gurbani, also im sure i saw some pics of sikhs in the world wars carrying what would be a normal size saroop, that was so amazing i wish i had it to show u guys.

despite what i say, we should give the usmost repect to the King of Kings, the greatest saviour we can ever have, especially in these times.........

the soldiers were fighting for the world during that time...if it wasn't for their bravery the holocaust and massacre of innocent people would have continued...if it wasn't for them who knows, maybe Hitler and early Germany could have tooken over enitre Europe and Asia as a dictator who slaves his people.

Sikhi promotes Freedom...and what those soldiers did was fight for freedom....

and the other comment, it is not that his hands are dirty, it is of old age and the use of the hands...which make them look like that...we can't make any assumptions cuz we personally do not know right.

also,

guru gobind singh ji too had his minitaure version of Guru Granth sahib ji as well...as a matter of respect maybe their was beadbi maybe there wasn't...aslong as those brave soldiers kept their faith at times where they were discriminated against by their own country shows us how much courage they must of have....most of us in those situations would have easily cut our hair so we would not be ridiculed....and not even remember guru sahib but these brave soldiers, accepted their faith, accepted their guru and took gurus hukam where ever they went, while risking their lives.

the small Guru Granth sahib ji was made for soilder 2 carry in there paag's during wars, to keep the close to god. The Guru Granth sahib ji gave the soilders motivation to fight for what is right. that what i have hurt but got nothing 2 back it up.
