This is one of best interviews I have ever read in my life not because i m saying beause you are a white sikh convert, reason i m saying is because the suffering you seen/been through at this age. Vahiguroo pulled you towards him, without good karams this is not possible.

Ikongkar (one non-duality god prevading everywhere)

Satnaam(he is truth from all the ages)

Kartapurkh (gives energy, food to everyone/everybeing without any partiality)

Nirbhau( is not afraid of anyone)

Nirvair (is without animosity towards others, its us who have complicated our own lifes from this life or previous lives)

Akaal Moorat (he is free from time, he doesnt have moraat-shape in essence)

Ajooni ( he doesnt come in any form of life)

Saibhang ( he gives energy to everything including 5 elements, 5 koshas(sheats), 5 senses, 5 karam indraie, mann, chit, budh, ahankar, free stages- jagrath, saupan, sukhopat, turiya etc etc)

GURPARSAD- mind could be fully merged in him by grace of sargun gyan data Guru, even bhrama's son narad muni had to intiate himself by the Guru, via him GURPARSAD.

Self Percept (Atam Updesh)

Why are you so engrossed in worries? Why are you afraid of some one? Who may kill you? The soul is immortal; it neither dies nor takes birth.

The present is here and now, the past is irrecoverable and the future will be good. Don't fret over the past and don't be worried about the future. The present is going on.

Why do you cry? What did you lose? When you were born, what did you bring along, which has been lost? What did you produce which has been perished? It is here that you gained and it is here that you lose. The man comes to; and goes from world, empty handed.

What you own today was not yours yesterday and will not be yours tomorrow. It does not and will not belong to anyone. You consider it your own and rejoice. This happiness of possession leads you to utter grief.

Yours is this world. Start from where you feel to; stay where you desire and wind up where you want to. It has no beginning and no end. You don't fear anyone, but yourself. You are the fright and also the frightened.

Change is the truth of life. What you consider as death is life in reality. In a moment a multi-millionaire is turned pauper. Give up the feeling of possession, great & the mean; differentiation of friend & foe. Then all is yours and you for everyone. Your corporeal being is a product of air, water and fire and it merges into the same leaving behind neither blood nor bones. Still yours existence remains the same. Then ponder over what you are.

Wake up! and become the eternal sons of the Almighty. You are the great and unique manifestation of Nature's power. All the divine powers are possessed by you, like a tree hidden in the seed.

In fact you don't fear anybody; you don't have any worry, suspicion, pain or grief. You are His dear ones. Surrender yourself completely to Him.

Always, remember the "Waheguru" (God) to achieve salvation. Let your life be guided by the saying "Whatever God wills, is good". Be content with the will of God. Remember Him both in pleasure & pain.

I read the rest of the Mool Mantr. I can not describe how I felt... but it was like suddenly finding that 'thing' that was inside you all along, this truth that didn't have a voice, was so bluntly, and simply infront of me in written word. And it was at that moment that I met and fell in love with Gurbani.
If ever any doubts remained, then Gurbani washed it all clean.
The best way to learn about Sikhi, is to take the dive. Even if you don't know anything at all about Sikhism (as I started off), ask questions, and find answers. Read as much Gurbani as you can, and find the Guru-ward sangat.

As for Amrit... the only prerequisite is love and thirst. Remember Vaisakhi - when Guru Ji asked the thousands present "Who will give their head to me"?... Guru Ji asks this very same question on every occasion where there is an Amrit Sanchar. What will you say to Him? "No Guru Ji, not now... maybe later... I'm not ready yet". What kind of love and devotion? Become His now... and He will make you ready, and He will arrange everything for you, He will find ways to teach you what you have to know.

The time is Now! Don't wait till your old age to begin to jap (chant and meditate) on the Lord. Don't wait till your death bed to remember Him and get thirsty for Naam and Merging. Pray to Waheguru Ji! Who knows when we will have to leave this Earth?

Take the Dive!

Awesome !!

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

WOW that was amazing i did not read all of the interview but as much as i did read that was amazing well done penji proud of you and all credit goes to Guru Ji he done bare kirpa on you pray.gif

I'v noticed people who originally where not born into sikhi whilst coming into sikhi the prem they develop for Waheguru is sooooo amazing and then i sometimes think for people who are born into sikh families not all some take sikhi for guruantee and do not respect it in the utmost respect we should give Waheguru Ji's Sikhi and especially the Rehat.

When i went to Kericho in Kenya we went for a smagam for 3 days disabled school children use to come to visit us and believe me when i say their health was sooooo poor made me want to cry for them but you know what considering the bad health and poverty they where living in they had smiles on their faces, full of life and energy and you know why because they had full faith in God as they sang hyms of God man that was beautiful and made me see life in a very different perspective.

If these children can accept what they have to live with and still have full faith in God then we who have everything on a plate for us why can't we enjoy the finest things in life that Guru Ji has granted us?!!!!!
