Okay.. one question..

If orange allowed then why not red? :@ (both are same bright color)..

becuz orange is a khalsa colour and red is not allowed

:)

u can say "we shudnt waste our time on tiny silly things" but the colour thing pops up time and time again in rehatnamas, enough to suggest that it was said quite obviously by guru gobind singh himself.

Intresting discussion.

I think people sometimes put too much emphasis on the outside appearance and not enough on the inside rehit. That having been said ... let's look at the practical side of things.

A singh walking down the street with a green chola and red pug ... well :)

A singh walking down the street with a black chola black pug long dara atleast 1 ft. shree sahib hazooria thick sarbloh karay.... B)

A bibi walking down the street with bright pink bana and matching dastaar ohmy.gif

A bibi walking down the street with white bana and blue dastaar ^_^

i personally don't see any difference in any color and i still disagree with everyone saying this color is our color and this color should not be avoided.. and so on..

Sikhi is simple and it's us making big deal out of it... whether you wear red daastar, organge daastar, blue daastar or even pink daastar tongue.gif ... IT DOES NOT Matter..
