sant 108 baba------------- singh ji ?

now a days they r using 1008 also wit their names ?

also why maala has 108 mankeas ?

no one really knows the answer to this. But I've been told that people use 108 because the biggest simran maalas come in 108 beads. So to tell ppl that they do simran from such a big maala, they start using the title of 108.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

hmm, I think the backpage of the megazine Atam Marg by Rara Sahib samprada addresses Baba Isher Singh Ji with the title of 108. Perhaps N30 Singh can put some light on us.

I can't put my name as Vicky 007 would that be cool/ok for a sikh to have that name? .. i mean guru je gave us only singh or kaur as last name.. so i think it's very kinda tricky and sounds very much like priesthood of having numbers in their names.. :T:

Vickey, 108 is not used like a surname or last name it is used as a title like Bhai or Baba.

I don't know about this either, this is why I asked N30 to confirm.
