Kirtan Darbar in Leicester organised by DMU and Leicester University.

Date: Weds 21st November, from 6pm til 10pm

At: Guru Nanak Gurdwara, 9 Holy Bones, Leicester, LE1 4LJ.

Many kirtannies from the Midlands as well as the country will be attending for this sikh soc event, including people such as Manvir Singh. Kirtan will be accompanied by translations and katha, in English.

Also, plenty of opportunity to do various types of seva, so make sure your there!

Paintballing in the following week organised by various East Midlands Sikh Soc sevadaars at Delta Force.

Date: Wednesday 28 November from approx 9am till 4.30pm

You get, for £20, 10-12 games, 100 free paintballs, all equipment, overalls and gas for the gun, free refreshments and transport to the event. A coach is going from Leicester and De Montfor uni, and another coach from Nottingham and Nottingham Trent Uni.

This event, as the kirtan darbar is, open to all so come along and bring your friends for a good shoot out.
