Should Age Gap Count When Your Getting Married?

my personal views are that it shouldnt really matter with the age as long as both are happy and they are not being forced to tie the knot.

hmmmm.....well i think age gap does matter in a way...cus a woman is more mature than a guy. they say a girl is 2 years more mature than a guy..and that makes sense...cus guys are more immature in a way..

To someone who is just a Sikh by name and has little knowledge on Sikh principles it would not matter. How ever to a practising Sikh it would matter as a clash in beliefs and values would occur. Marriages between indivduals of different religions usually looks ok on paper but is hard to practise.

Ok i am sikh, and suppose i wanna marry this white girl.

the white girl is not sikh.

she likes to drink and smoke.

I do not like doing those things.

Her culture is totally differnt and she was raised differently then me.

Since religion doesnt matter,i still go on and marry the white girl right? because smoking and drinking is ok for us right?
