I took these pictures of the Saroop of Guru Granth Sahib at Harmandir Sahib, but was appalled to see the lack of respect... sticky tape and all that...In my opinion SGPC people are a bunch of sycophants, just wearing blue turbans and trying to secure votes for Badal...

Thats appaling, with all the SGPC money all they could do was sticky tape the puratan saroop, absolute disgrace.

Also the reason why its ripped is because after the hindu army attacked Akal Takhat and the complex in 84 the singhs found bullets in the saroop.

i think ull find that it aint sellootape but chipee the same thing taksali singhs use when restoring ripped and...it binds the paper and acts as a bond inbetween the ripped part. although there is a colour diff it is the right maryada as we shudnt leave mahraaj ang ripped.

for all u ppl who are sayin its wrong to stick it .. wat soloution would u suggest? its better than letting the saroop get totally damaged? sorry i may be wrong.
