tableji
is it the typing you are having problems with or is it the programming side? are you a reg. developer? I would love to join forces lol... ks I havnt started anything yet, but I cant see it being too difficuilt to write an app. I primarily specialise in .net c# 3.5 asp.net on the windows platforms, but i have experience using javaand c++ aswell. its all the same really, just different syntax to do the same thing. I was just saying, if i had access to the sikhitothemax database or even the solution files for the existing version, i could easily create a version for the iphone. All the hardwork has been done in creating the original version, no need to reinvent the wheel.

K, not long ago I contacted STTM team and they were willing to help, I will e-mail bhaji today too... but aren't we gonna have a problem displaying gurbani, the iphone does not yet support gurmukhi fonts, although I can get unicode to display. Plus, don't bother purchasing another iphone developer program, as I already have one, theres no point purchasing too huna? hopefully, with akaal purakhs kirpa, this seva shouldn't be too hard. ps. i am lame on the programming side but i can do all the provisioning and readying to deploy it to the app store.

ksingh88
Looks very promising. I don't know if this would help anyone, I'm in the process of typing out a simple program to have a gutka on your iPhone. This is at the moment only in development stages. But it will be available in the app store. KS www.thesikhspodcast.com

Mandeep Singh CA
Waheguru Ji, We've successfully tested the first beta version of Gurbani Search application for iPhone and it works great. The application should be available on App Store early next month. It would be installed on iPhone like a regular app and wouldn't need internet/data plan and neither will it require any modifications to the iPhone.
