When i say amrit i am talking about about the amrit sinchar ceremony, is it really required??

Does it help the individual??

Can't a person be human without that??

Every such question needs to be countered with a counter-question before being answered. Its all about what is your priority in life. If your priority is to live the way everyone else is living, you (the you in this post doesn't refer to B4ND4, just a general reference term), then no matter how much someone stuffs you with logic about Amrit, you won't buy any of it. If however you want to live the way Gurujee wanted His Sikhs to live, you won't ask questions, rather out of love you will follow whatever He has commanded. This is only my personal opinion. Its all about priorities.

Is Amrit really required??

Counter question : Why do you think its not required? I could ask "Is air or water or food required?" Again, depending on your hunger, thirst or breathlessness, you will respond. Are you hungry/thirsty/breathless enough yet?

If it wasn't, why would Gurujee start it? The world was already caught up in rituals at that time, why would Gurujee, who in fact came to end these fake practices, leave us with another new one?

Thats what the individual needs to ask himself/herself. No one else can speak for him/her.

There are enough people in our world today who are worse than animals. Unfortunately, all of them look like humans, and some of them are judged as "handsome" and "beautiful" too. You can find a lot of tuks in Gurbani and Bhai Gurdas ji's vaaraan about a Sikh without Amrit.

Why have kes for spirituality??

Keeping kesh is a sign of accepting God's will. If someone considers God to be All-Perfect and free from the least possible degree of error, he/she would stop tampering with what God has made, what God has given him/her. Once you accept God's will, you'll already start getting somewhere. This answers your previous question "Does it help the individual" as well.

Why wear the 5 K's??

Khalsa is the army of God. An army without a uniform is no army. A son who doesn't look like his father is not fully considered as the son even if he claims to be one.

yes amrit is required, dat y wer here for, if we come n dont take amirt our life has been a waste, i memba wen sum1 told me the story of this couple hu had kids but there children kept dying weneva they took amrit, because in there past like they neva got da chance, n dey jus came bak for da amrit n left again, so da couple neva gave amrit to there last child till a late age, but it happned again, and then a spritual person explained wat was happneing, i have forgoten the story, if sum1 knows it please elaborate
