my jija ji used to do catering business for weddings and he would have made eggless cake, but he dont do that business any more.....lol

It depends where in punjab...but Khalsa Bakery will be your best bet..they have branches throughout Punjab (Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Phagwara, Amritsar And Ludhiana) and specialise in vegetarian foods including eggless cakes...

Personally I don't understand the current faze with wanting to have cake - it has alot of fake preservatives in it. Its for that reason I prefer karagh prashaad.

I know its off topic which I apologise for but I really don't know why gurdwara's do cake and why do they have pasta, chips and beans. I believe things should be made from the raw materials rather than tinned etc plus its just so unhealthy!

Of course people are free to eat what they want but sometimes you go to events at gurdwara's and they have no roti Just wanted to express my concern over why proper punjabi food is disappearing from the Gurdwara.

yhh yhhh basicaly u can make any cake (or even brownies) or u do is instead of ading egg u hadd the mixure stuff that u get from holland & barrets..
