I like this thread cos alot of the internet community say negative things about Nihangs which I don't like. My family are nihang singhs and in India during 1984 police came over and searched our whole house and then they literally dug holes in our house. By the end of it - they made it look like a landfill site. Not only that they made a camp outside the house not allowing anyone in or out. People were taken away and tortured and so much more. So lucky we even alive!

n the shaheedi directory released by Dal Khalsa of the Sikhs who died in Opertaion bluestar, there from Nihang Dal :

1. Bhai Ajaib Singh Mahakaal of Baba Bidhi Chand Dal

2. Bhai ManMinder Singh Jogi of same Dal

3. Bhai Makhan Singh of same Dal.

Nihang Dal of Baba Bidhi Chand and Harian Bela are very close to Taksal. Before the time of Poohla and Kahn Singh Baggi, Baba Bkala Taruna Dal were close to Taksal. But Budha Dal under Baba Santa Singh Ji seems to have remained at a distance.
