vaaheguru ji ka khalsa vaaheguru ji ki fateh

I think it will be beneficial for our Panth if we discuss the term 'Sehajdhari' explicitly here. Many of us say those from other faiths are Sehajdhari where as many even mistake those with hair cut (mone) as Sehajdharis.

What really constitutes a Sehajdhari?

Please give your definitions here so we can all learn.

This is what Bhai Chuapa Singh Ji writes about a Sehajdhari in his Tankhahnaama:

"Jo Sikh Sehajdhari Hoekey Chehre (face) de room luhae (cuts/removes), So BHEE Tankhaahea"

This makes it very clear that all Sehajdharis HAVE to keep their hair uncut.

What do others think about this?

Waheguru jee ka khalsa, Waheguru jee kee fateh

I do agree with above posts that even for a Sehajdhari Sikh, unshorn Kesh is necessity.

I think we can call a sikh, a sehajdhari sikh during the time period when he or she is transforming himself / herself as Sikh by birth towards an Amritdhari Sikh.

Yes, i dnt think that a sehaj dhari is sum1 who goes contarary 2 the gurus wayz, i think its just sum1 with cut hair.

cutting hair is contrary to gurus way!!! hair is one of the most important things in sikhi, if you cut it you are telling guru jee you know better!!!
