lol sorry your post makes sense but doesnt at the same time I mean...to use the word STEAL in itself is just not nice isnt it? AKJ or any other gursikh would never STEAL anything. Therefore they could not have STOLEN this bana. It is simply warn by them because they still consider themselves Sikhs of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. If in Guru Ji's time all were nihangs it's not their fault that by the time they were born, they werent born nihangs? If you're saying all sikhs in Guru Ji's times were nihangs then why especially cal them 'ladlian fauj'? And also, why did they not refer to ALL sikhs as Nihangs? :6 Confusing I know, but you get the gist. Basically to say that only Nihangs should wear bana is ludicrous, especially for those people not born into nihang famillies.

Furthermore, bana is bana, it's not owned by anyone but Guru Ji; wear what you want but for the love of Waheguru stop arguing over it.

Born a nihang? you have to take amrit first.

ALL sikh as nihangs? Would you call non-khalsa sikhs, sehajdharis and udaisis as Nihangs?

However I think we should discuss the history of where things come from and what happened.

And yes also, I will call nihang bana as nihang bana, and if anyone wants to stop me please try ;)

lol you all talk crap

did nihangs invent bana? NOOOOO

Guroo Gobind Singh Ji made our bana, so Guroo Gobind Singh Ji decides who wear it,

guroo gobind singh ji wants his children to wear it

if you lot think only you are guroo ji's children

then your plainly SCREWED IN THE HEAD.

Stop saying its your bana cause u didnt make it, you were given it to wear by guroo ji, you have no place to say who else guroo ji gives it to.

in short, YOU DID NOT MAKE BANA, YOU DO NOT SAY WHO CAN AND CANNOT WEAR IT.

STOP ACTING LIKE BRAHMINS

I will wear bana and what? sum1 wana come and take it off me? COME

HELLO..

Guru Gobind Singh ji was an Akali NIHANG, so yes, if you're saying Guru Gobind Singh Ji invented this bana then its also true that it was invented by a nihang, Akali Nihang Guru Gobind Singh Ji. :D

So from what you are saying, a non-khalsa or even non-sikh can also wear this bana BECAUSE

"in short, YOU DID NOT MAKE BANA, YOU DO NOT SAY WHO CAN AND CANNOT WEAR IT.

STOP ACTING LIKE BRAHMINS"

lol, I ain't taking the bana off you, but no one is going to stop me from calling it nihang bana, although I don't really say that, but I will if it winds anyone up? lol somebody stop me :) ))))

look how much ego u have, that your bringing guroo ji down to the same level as his sikhs

your mental mate.

Guroo Ji above all was a KHALSA

so who are you to say it was nihang bana? why not khalsa bana?

oh i know why, cause then you would have to give up your elitism

Because you are talking as if just because guroo sahib is a so called "Akali Nihang" all other akali nihangs have the same right to make decisions YOU DONT.

Nice how you ignored the main point of my post, why don't you answer the question? can't you? or any other so called nihang for that matter?

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
