It Guru Ji's Bana Not Nihang Bana!

Recommended Posts

well the nihangs are NOT a division, but the divisions also want to waer nihang bana.

If the divisions can somehow prove their lineage to Guru Jis times then of course there should be no problem....

however if the divisions lineage can only go upto british raj, then how can they claim to be part of Guru Jis fauj?

AKJ's do wear 'Nihung' bana but don't claim lineage to Guroo Jee

Taksali's don't wear 'Nihung' Bana but do claim linage to Guroo Jee

Who are you referring to...AKJ or Taksal or both?

You say Guroo Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj is an Akali Nihang right? This ranking belongs to which order? The KHALSA panth. Guroo Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj, the creator of the Khalsa, is also a Khalsa, all of his gifts are for the KHALSA.

Even if groups were made after the creation of the Khalsa, they are not seperate from it but WITHIN it.

The individual members of these jathebandis are still the sons and daughters of Dhan Dhan Sri Guroo Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj. Therefore all jathebandis coming under the Khalsa Panth have 100% rights to wear their father's bana.

You wan't proof of their lineage to Guroo Sahib? Go ask the panj pyare that gave them amrit :) You take amrit, and that's it, you are linked to Guroo Sahib, you are a member of this fauj.

nihangs are the khalsa, they were the ones who first took amrit from guru gobind singh, only they were present - the bana was given directly to them.

how can all these jathas call themself khalsa when they were only manufactured during the 20th century?

Veer ji u have a good point....
