How Was Amrit Sanchar Conducted Between 1699-1708 ?

Recommended Posts

Satguru jee has been present since the beginning of this creation. It was Satguru Jee who through krishna saved the honour of draupadi and it was Satguru jee who saved His bhagats prahlad and Dhru. The jyot of Satguru jee is spread through the entire creation(5 tatt) and in Kaliyug, Satguru jee decided to act through 5 tatts. The first 10 were human bodies and the 11th being paper. When Satguru jee were acting through Mahalla 5, Satguru jee was also present in the Adi Granth and thats the reason that Guru Arjan Dev Jee Maharaaj jee gave Adi Granth so much respect. Same way when Satguru jee were acting through Mahalla 10 or Patshahi 10, Satguru jee jyot was also present in Adi Granth and Dasam Granth.

So before 1708, at places where Patshahi 10 were not physically present, Satguru jee's jyot would have worked through Paper(granths) and would have activated the Naam within the abhilaakhis via the amrit water prepared by the 5 singhs.

How Was Amrit Sanchar Conducted Between 1699-1708 ?

Does it matter? Should anybody care? NO!

i disagree, we should know so that we can then see which organisations that came about british times have lost khalsa traditions. Organisations that lack lineage to Guru Gobind Singh jis times may well be giving amrit in strange or different ways, although they may be "panthic"?

What organisations! There is only one official organisation and that is SGPC. Any other organisation , whatever, is not 'panthic'.

Can you tell me which organisations trace their lineage to Guru Gobind Singh. :D And remember majority of Sikh literature written , post 1708 till SGPC, had personal trends in historical facts, the works were not free from the writer's prejudice (no matter how much respected).

why until sgpc? are you implying after sgpc those personal trends in historical facts and the works were indeed free from writer's prejudice? in layman terms, real sikhi started after sgpc. if thats a case your take is quite radical, subjective holds no objective argument.

Bhai Jeevan Singh Ji (aka Jaita Ji) who brought 'Sees' of Guru Sahib from Delhi wrote an eye witness account of 1699 Amrit Sanchaar. He wrote a granth called Siri Gur Katha. It is more authentic than other sources like Bhatt Vahis. I posted some lines from it regarding Amrit Sanchaar some time ago but it makes clear that five banis were read. Dasam Granth was not parkashed. Only Guru Sahib needs to be there and banis must be read from memory.

Why has this account never been mentioned by any historians?

The entire granth has been published and referenced in many books. It depends on where you look. Here is some info on it:

Keep in mind that Soochak Parsang Guru Ka written by Bhai Behlo Ji and Bhai Binod Singh Da Granth are also unknown to the Panth but these granths have wealth of information about Gurmat and Sikh history. Eye witness account of Bhai Taru Singh Ji exists. Original document of Farukhsiyar putting price on Sikhs' heads exists and could be bought for 5 rupees in 1905. We have not done much to preserve our history.
