AVG 8.0, comes with Anti Spyware, Link Scanner, Email Scanner, Anti Rootkit and of couse Anti Virus. By the simplest, safest and reliable AV program.

Do you get popups every five seconds with Kaspersky asking whether you would like to block or allow programs?

One of the reasons why i had to get rid of it.

I personally believe, Spybot S&D, AVG and Windows Firewall does the job.

Not everything that costs is the best (even if your downloading it for free)

kaspersky does what its suppose to do, if it thinks something is about to run which maybe shouldnt etc , it will let you know.

as i said if you are with barclays and check your account online, you can have kaspersky free for a year

i've got the 8.0 version... and thank god...so far no probs! the AVG before that was also good..however was a bit weired.... but 8.0>> is gr8!

I have a barclays account.. although i cant see myself using it again. But i suppose its personal preference.
