gotra? i thought it was just ghot. but anyways, our heritage? history? sikh history is our history. who cares about ghots when u got a father who only used "singh". ghots are just another reason to divide us, to make us seem like one is better then the other. if we all just use singh, there would be no argument.

People have mentality for Ghot, they feel pride in being Jats. As everyone wants to be special so they think pride in using there Ghot.

This disease is present in almost all jats of Today.

The problem is they dont want to be considered equal to all sikhs, but want to be special. Almost many of them have dropped singh word also. So only use there surname.

Stupid fellows have no knowledge of Sikh history.
